TGEJAC submit memorandum of demands to Dy CM

The Telangana Employees, Teachers & Pensioners Joint Action Committee (TGEJAC) submitted a detailed memorandum dated April 10, 2026, to the Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Friday. The document outlines resolutions passed in a meeting aimed at addressing critical issues faced by employees, teachers, contingent staff and pensioners in the state. The committee highlighted urgent demands critical to employee welfare and operational efficiency.

These included, among others, implementation of the 2nd Pay Revision Commission (PRC) before June 2, 2026, clearance of pending bills , provision of cashless medical treatment through the Employees Health Scheme, abolition of the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) followed by restoration of the Old Pension Scheme (OPS), etc.

Financial demands focus on pay, allowances and infrastructure such as release of pending Dearness Allowances (DAs) as of January 1, 2025 with arrears; implementation of Pay Revision Commission report with 51% fitment for all employees, teachers and pensioners; increase of Earned Leave (E.L) ceiling from 300 days to 365 days, etc. Non-financial demands included reducing the eligibility criteria for general transfers from 3 years to 2 years in same station, consider inter-district spouse cases and transfers based on seniority in future vacancies per G.O.No.31, etc.
