Civil rights leader Professor Haragopal emphasized the need for a humanitarian Telangana during the release of the book ‘Vinu Telangana’ by senior journalist Kandukuri Ramesh Babu at Basheerbagh Press Club on Sunday. As the chief guest, Haragopal unveiled the book and called for rulers to listen to the people's voices and serve them with empathy.

Reflecting on the last decade, Haragopal criticized the government for focusing on vacant lands rather than addressing the aspirations of the youth who sacrificed for Telangana's formation. He advocated for delegating the responsibility of Telangana's reconstruction to MLC Professor Kodandaram and stressed the importance of an in-depth discussion on the book.

Author, poet, and director B Narasinga Rao pointed out that while Telangana faced injustice during the united regime, the state has struggled to connect with its Chief Minister over the past ten years. He urged politicians to adopt a humanitarian perspective and engage with the people.

MLC Professor Kodandaram described ‘Vinu Telangana’ as a reflection of the people's struggles and a guide to understanding the state's current challenges. He noted that while citizens have clarity about Telangana's future, politicians lack direction. Writer Kandukuri Ramesh Babu called the book a warning to the government, highlighting mistakes made over the last decade. Senior journalists Ramilla Awadhani and N Venugopal also participated in the event.
