Telangana emerging as Ai innovation hub, Sridhar Babu

Telangana is rapidly positioning itself as a global platform for artificial intelligence–driven innovation, IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu said during a US - India Business Council (USIBC) round table at the India AI Impact Summit - 2026.

Highlighting the state’s strong infrastructure and advanced technology ecosystem, the minister said Telangana offers significant opportunities for US investors. He emphasized the government’s focus on public-private partnerships with global tech companies, and said stable, forward-looking policies are driving AI research and innovation. Sridhar Babu further said that artificial intelligence is already being used to improve governance through real-time monitoring of public services.
