Teenmaar Mallanna fulfills promise to NRB Bearing workers

Hyderabad: Keeping his promise to the workers of NRB Bearing Company in Uppal, Telangana Rajyadhikara Party (TRP) Chief and MLC Teenmaar Mallanna on Friday provided accident insurance to 111 workers. In addition, 404 families were covered under a Rs 1 lakh family insurance scheme. During the elections, he had assured that if elected, he would provide Rs 10 lakh accident insurance to every worker from his own funds. At a meeting organized by the workers within the company premises, Mallanna personally distributed insurance cards to the workers.

Insurance coverage details- In case of accidental death: Rs 10,00,000, permanent total disability: Rs 10,00,000, temporary disability: Rs 10,000 per week (up to 100 weeks), hospitalization due to accident: Up to Rs 3,00,000

In the program, conducted under the leadership of Venkatayya and Srinivas, Mallanna stated that such a comprehensive and worker-centric initiative has not been implemented anywhere in the country so far. Mallanna clarified that the insurance was provided to all workers equally—irrespective of whether they voted for him or not. He called for unity among workers, urging them to support each other in times of need. He further stated that the key difference between TRP Labour Wing and other unions is that TRP does not exploit workers but takes responsibility to support them directly.
