Suriya’s ‘Vishwanath & Sons’ to release on August 14

Suriya’s upcoming family drama Vishwanath & Sons is set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on August 14, coinciding with the Independence Day weekend. Directed by Venky Atluri, the film is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya.

The film has already generated strong buzz among audiences following the release of its teaser and title announcement. The first-look posters featuring Suriya alongside a child struck an emotional chord with fans and brought back the actor’s vintage family-entertainer image.

Known for successful films like SIR/Vaathi and Lucky Baskhar, director Venky Atluri is expected to deliver another emotional entertainer filled with humour, family values and heartwarming moments.

The film also stars Mamitha Baiju, Radhika Sarathkumar and Raveena Tandon in important roles. Music for the film is composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, while cinematography is handled by Nimish Ravi and editing by Navin Nooli. Production design is by Banglan.

With expectations steadily rising, Vishwanath & Sons is being seen as one of the major family entertainers of the year. The film will be distributed in Tamil Nadu by Think Studios.
