Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Sunday said that the Padmashali community is synonymous with self respect and sacrifice. Konda Laxman Bapuji sacrificed his position to the cause of Telangana state. Bapuji made his house as the venue for the launch of the second phase Telangana movement and  it is the testament to the community's commitment.

He recalled that the  previous BRS government has  not paid tributes to such a great person when he passed away and the entire community will not forget the disrespect to Konda Laxman Bapuji.  'Tiger ' A Narendra was another great leader who fought for Telangana from the community. It was Congress led UPA gave the union minister post to Narendra. Reminding that it was KCR who ruined Narendra's political career.

“My government's policy is to render  justice to the Padmashali fraternity when the opportunities are open. The government convinced the union government and set up the Indian Institute of Handloom Technology. In recognition of Konda Laxman Bapuji's services, the institute was also named after the great leader. “ Announcing that the  Asifabad Medical College will  be named after Konda Laxman Bapuji, Revanth said that Minister Tummala Nageshwar Rao will take the responsibility of completing the official process.

Supporting the handloom weavers by giving the order of 1 crore 30 lakh sarees worth Rs 600 crores to the women's self-help groups My duty is to fulfill the  demands of the community. I have no other thoughts except to serve this society which blessed me. I will support the community like a family member since you hold me in your heart with admiration.  State government fulfilled the promise of the caste census made by Rahul Gandhi and completed the enumeration of backward communities. Some political leaders  said the caste census was full of errors since they don't like it.

After the Assembly adopted a resolution on the caste census, BRS and BJP are criticising the census as PM Modi is receiving backlash for not accepting the demand for caste census across the country. Opposition hatched a conspiracy to suppress the rights of the weaker sections and throttle their voice. The data collected during the KCR regime said that upper castes are constituted 21 per cent. Whereas , the caste census disclosed it was only 15.28 per cent.

Some forces are  obstructing the government's efforts to provide 42 per cent reservation to BC at the initial stage. Calling upon the BC community to thwart these conspiracies.  Padmashali community from Telangana is also playing a key role in other state elections as well. Government is ready to provide Rs One Crore fund  to construct a Markandeya Bhavan in Solapur to upheld the self-respect of Padmashali fraternity. My government  will support the community financially, politically and also provide employment.

Government is ready to take some active decisions for the welfare of the community. Assuring  on this platform that I will stand by as  brother and  uphold your self-respect.
