Founded under the leadership of Chairman Sri G. Panduranga Reddy, B.Sc., LLB., the institutions operate under the banner of Vyjayanthi Educational Society, established in 2000 with Registration No. 6387. 

Established in 2010, Sree Dattha Group of Institutions (SDGI) continues the same commitment towards excellence, carrying AICTE approval, JNTU Hyderabad affiliation, NAAC A+ accreditation, NBA accreditation and UGC Autonomous status. Sree Dattha Institute of Pharmacy (SDIP), established in 2005, is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, affiliated with JNTU Hyderabad and accredited by NAAC A+ and NBA. 

SDES offers diverse academic opportunities including eight B.Tech programmes in Computer Science Engineering, AI & ML, CS & IT, CS & Business Systems, ECE, EEE, Civil and Mechanical Engineering. The institution also offers M.Tech specialisations in CSE, VLSI, Embedded Systems and Electrical Power Systems, along with Diploma courses in CSE, ECE, EEE, Civil and Mechanical and an MBA programme.
