More than 2,500 people from corporates, schools, colleges and the general public came together at People’s Plaza on Saturday morning for SIGNATHON 3.0, an awareness run organized by Ashray Akruti to promote Indian Sign Language (ISL), accessibility and inclusion for persons with hearing impairment. SIGNATHON 3.0 brought participants together with a shared objective of breaking communication barriers and encouraging a society where everyone has equal opportunities to communicate, connect and participate.

SIGNATHON 3.0 featured 10K, 5K and 2K runs, encouraging people from different age groups and backgrounds to participate in a common cause. A Zumba session added energy to the morning, while a basic Indian Sign Language (ISL) workshop introduced participants to the fundamentals of ISL. D. P. K. Babu, Managing Director of Ashray Akruti, expressed his gratitude to the dignitaries, participants, corporate organizations, volunteers and supporters who contributed to the success of SIGNATHON 3.0. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony recognizing the winners of the runs along with a lucky participant from the 2K run.
