Senior journalist Madhusudan passes away

Senior journalist and Chief Public Relations Officer to the Deputy Chief Minister, Maraboina Madhusudan, passed away on Monday following a severe cardiac arrest. He was undergoing treatment at Apollo Spectra Hospital when he breathed his last.

Madhusudan had earlier served in key editorial and reporting roles at leading media organisations. Over the years, he earned a reputation as a sincere and committed journalist who discharged his duties with professionalism and integrity.

He is survived by his wife and a son. According to sources, Madhusudan complained of chest pain on Monday afternoon and was initially admitted to a local private hospital for treatment. During treatment, he suffered a cardiac arrest and was immediately shifted to a nearby Apollo hospital. While doctors were attending to him, he suffered another cardiac arrest and passed away.

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka expressed deep shock over his demise. He said the passing of such an honest and dedicated journalist was a great loss. He described Madhusudan as a highly committed professional who remained devoted to his work throughout his career.

He also prayed for strength and courage for the bereaved family during this difficult time.
