SCCL CMD calls for uninterrupted coal supply

Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) Chairman and Managing Director Dr. Buddhaprakash Jyoti stressed the need to strengthen the company’s role in Telangana’s industrial and economic growth by efficiently meeting its rising power demands.

Speaking after unfurling the National Flag during the Telangana Praja Palana Dinotsavam 2026 celebrations at Singareni Bhavan on Thursday, Buddhaprakash Jyoti underscored the importance of sustained coal production and timely dispatches to thermal power stations. He noted that ensuring state energy security is crucial, particularly given the anticipated surge in electricity consumption driven by potential El Niño weather conditions.

Addressing company officials and staff, the CMD called on every employee to discharge their duties with renewed efficiency and commitment, emphasising their vital role in driving the comprehensive development of both the state and the nation.
