Actress says parties and networking cannot replace talent, hard work and auditions while building a career in films
Bollywood actress Sahher Bambba says she believes success in the film industry comes through auditions and genuine work rather than attending parties or networking events. In a recent interview with a magazine, Sahher shared that she understood early in her career that visibility alone cannot secure opportunities. “I realised very early on that your work will only happen via auditions and actual work. No amount of attending parties will get you the job. It doesn’t work for me,” she said.
The actor also admitted that she is not naturally inclined towards the social side of the industry. She described herself as an anti-social person and said making small talk does not come easily to her.
Instead, Sahher has chosen to focus on auditions, learning through experience, and gradually creating her own space in the industry. Her approach reflects a clear belief in consistency, dedication and letting her work speak for itself.
Her honest remarks have resonated with many aspiring actors who often feel pressured to remain constantly visible in the industry. By prioritising talent and hard work over social appearances, Sahher highlighted the value of patience and perseverance in a highly competitive field. Her journey also shows that staying authentic and focused can be just as important as networking while building a successful career in films.
