Under the National AYUSH Mission, integrated AYUSH hospitals will be established at Tekkali, Rampachodavaram, Nandigama, Tenali, Giddalur and Tirupati, with individual project costs ranging from about Rs 9.98 crore to Rs 10.58 crore.

The facilities are intended to expand access to integrated traditional medical services across different regions. A Government Ayurveda Medical College at Dharmavaram in Sri Sathya Sai district will also be constructed at a cost of Rs 49 crore.

At the VIMS campus in Visakhapatnam, Rs 9.37 crore has been earmarked for constructing an additional floor for the Government Naturopathy and Yoga College. Another Rs 3.04 crore will be spent on additional infrastructure at the 50-bed integrated AYUSH hospital on the same campus, including facilities for the college’s clinical department.

The government is simultaneously strengthening allopathic healthcare.
