Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy visited Wanaparthy and laid the foundation stone for various development works in the Wanaparthy district centre on Sunday. The foundation stones for multiple projects, amounting to approximately Rs 1,000 crore include an integrated residential school, It Tower, expansion of the Sri Venkateswara Temple, and the Madhava Reddy Lift Irrigation project at Kasimnagar, which aims to irrigate 4,000 acres. He also visited Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple and offered silk robes to Lord.
CM visits childhood home, gets nostalgic
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy inaugurated the first phase of sewing machine distribution on Sunday, choosing Wanaparthy for the event. This town holds a special place in his heart, as he spent 12 years of his life here, studying and living in a rented house. During his visit, CM Revanth Reddy made an emotional stop at the very house he once rented.
The family currently residing there was thrilled to welcome the Chief Minister, offering him a traditional welcome with aarti. Seeing his old home brought back a flood of childhood memories for Revanth Reddy, who shared that this house remains a significant chapter in his life. He inquired about the well-being of the current residents and took photos with them, spending approximately 20 minutes at the location. Revanth Reddy reminisced about his early political journey, mentioning that he lived in this rented house before embarking on his political career.
