The mere mention of the 'Red Book' has sent shockwaves through YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) ranks, with one leader reportedly suffering a heart attack and another fracturing his hand after slipping in a bathroom. Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education, IT, and Electronics, Nara Lokesh, clarified that the Red Book is meant only for those who violate the law, dismissing allegations that it is being used for political vendetta.

Speaking after distributing permanent land pattas to economically weaker sections in Undavalli, Lokesh criticized the previous administration for enforcing Raja Reddy's Constitution while affirming that the current government is committed to upholding Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's Constitution. He also refuted allegations of political persecution, emphasizing that opposition leaders are not being unlawfully confined or framed in false cases. “We have even provided Jagan Mohan Reddy with Z+ security, ensuring his freedom to move among the people,” he added.

Defending the government's decision to introduce the Red Book, Lokesh cited the instance of misinformation being spread regarding major industrial projects. He highlighted the migration crisis in Kanigiri, where 35,000 people were forced to leave their hometowns in search of work. “During my Yuvagalam Padayatra, I promised to create employment opportunities in Kanigiri. In line with that promise, we have established the first Reliance CBG plant there. Plans are in place for 50 more plants,” he stated.

However, Lokesh accused YSRCP leaders of attempting to derail development initiatives by spreading falsehoods. “They claimed that the CBG plants would cause severe environmental hazards. To curb such baseless propaganda, I introduced the Red Book policy to hold those spreading misinformation accountable,” he asserted.

Lokesh announced ambitious development plans for Mangalagiri, including the establishment of a Common Facility Center for weavers and a Gems and Jewelry Park over 75 acres to create employment opportunities for local youth. “We are working sincerely to implement every promise made during the elections. Our goal is to make Mangalagiri the No. 1 constituency in the state. Just as Kuppam and Hindupur have become strongholds of the TDP, I will ensure Mangalagiri follows suit,” he affirmed.

During the event, Lokesh personally handed over a land title to Rajahmundry Govindu’s family, who had been living in Undavalli's Kodavallu area for 15 years without ownership rights. Overwhelmed with gratitude, Govindu’s family blessed Lokesh and expressed their joy. “We prayed for you to remain our MLA for 30 more years,” they said.
