In an effort to revitalize the Telangana Congress, Rahul Gandhi, the senior leader of the AICC and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, is scheduled to visit the state of Telangana on Monday.

During his visit, Rahul Gandhi will serve as the chief guest at the training sessions for District Congress Committee (DCC) presidents, which will take place in Vikarabad. He is scheduled to arrive at Shamshabad Airport from Delhi via a special flight at 9:20 AM. Subsequently, he will depart for Vikarabad by helicopter at 10:20 AM and is expected to reach his destination by 10:30 AM, where he will participate in the training classes held at the Haritha Hotel.

Throughout the day, from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM, the AICC leader will engage in discussions with the DCC presidents and prominent party leaders, providing guidance and directives. Rahul Gandhi is anticipated to return to Shamshabad at 5:00 PM for his journey back to Delhi.

The focus of Rahul Gandhi's visit will extend beyond the training sessions, addressing several crucial matters pertaining to state politics. He is expected to make pivotal decisions regarding the nomination of candidates for the upcoming vacancies in the Rajya Sabha from Telangana. It is likely that candidate selection will take into account social dynamics and party allegiance.

In light of Mr. Gandhi's visit, law enforcement has implemented substantial security measures around the Haritha Hotel in Vikarabad.

Party leaders are preparing for an elaborate reception in his honour. Reports indicate that Rahul Gandhi plans to inform the DCC presidents about strategies for strengthening the party and outlining future activities through a PowerPoint presentation.
