Prostitution racket busted in Yousufguda

The Jubilee Hills police busted an alleged prostitution racket operating from a house in Sri Krishna Nagar Colony, Yousufguda, on Monday, arresting two persons during the raid.

Acting on a tip-off, police conducted a search at the premises and found that a 26-year-old woman, Alekhya Reddy, had been running the illegal activity for the past six months. During questioning, she reportedly stated that financial difficulties forced her into the trade.

Police said the operation was being facilitated through contacts arranged by an agent identified as Venkatesh, along with another individual named Rama. A customer, Venkat Vinay Kumar (27), was also apprehended at the spot during the raid. A case has been registered against the accused, and investigations are ongoing. Police are working to trace and identify other individuals involved in the network and to determine the extent of the racket.
