Pratyusha Academy Chess Festival from August 9

Hyderabad, July 28 :

Woman Chess Grandmaster Pratyusha Bodda announced that a chess festival is being organized in four phases from August 9 to 16 under the aegis of the Pratyusha International Chess Academy. She shared details about the festival at a press conference held on Tuesday at the Somajiguda Press Club, alongside RJ Sekhar Basha, RJ Raj, and Academy Director Raviteja. She stated that the festival is being grandly organized at Sri Chaitanya Future Pathways Global Schools in Miyapur and that a total prize money of ₹16,26,666 will be awarded to the winners.

A poster for the chess festival was unveiled during the event. She mentioned that gold coins would be awarded to players through daily lucky draws and that there would be entertainment featuring film celebrities. RJ Sekhar Basha urged parents to encourage their children's interest in chess and to play the game with them, noting that chess fosters intellect, memory, and creativity in young children. He also encouraged players to showcase their talent and prove their mettle at the chess festival.
