In view of the upcoming Ramzan festival, police officials conducted a peace committee meeting with Muslim religious elders and mosque committee members under the jurisdiction of the Balanagar Police Station.
Speaking at the meeting, Balanagar ACP Naresh Reddy said that India stands as a role model to the world by showcasing unity in diversity. He urged everyone to continue the same spirit and celebrate Ramzan in a peaceful atmosphere. He added that people of all castes and religions living together in harmony is a proud and long-standing tradition.
He described the month of Ramzan as sacred for Muslims and assured that necessary measures would be taken to prevent traffic inconveniences during namaz (prayer) times. He requested religious elders to immediately bring any issues or concerns to his attention.
The ACP also suggested forming a peace committee comprising Muslim religious leaders and police officials for the entire month of Ramzan to ensure coordination and smooth communication.
The Balanagar Inspector, other police officials, and local religious elders participated in the meeting.
