Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan has commenced his annual spiritual Deeksha with traditional religious rituals at the renowned Sri Panakala Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Mangalagiri, Guntur district.

Before formally taking the vow, Pawan Kalyan offered special prayers and performed archana in accordance with Vedic traditions. He presented silk garments to the presiding deity and participated in the Ashtottara Shatanamavali puja. On his arrival at the temple, Executive Officer Sunil Kumar and the temple priests accorded him a traditional welcome at the Rajagopuram.

Pawan Kalyan has been observing this annual four-month spiritual Deeksha as part of his religious discipline ever since receiving mantra upadesam from his spiritual guru. The annual observance reflects his continued commitment to spiritual practices alongside his public responsibilities.

Despite serving as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and holding key portfolios, including Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, Pawan Kalyan has consistently maintained this spiritual tradition every year.

The event witnessed the participation of several Jana Sena leaders and devotees. APMSIDC Chairman Chillapalli Srinivasa Rao and other party functionaries were also present during the ceremony.
