Hyderabad, October 2026: Optimist, India’s super energy-efficient air conditioning brand, is strengthening its presence in Hyderabad. It looks to tap into growing consumer demand for high-performance cooling solutions that also help reduce energy consumption and long-term running costs. Optimist entered the air-conditioning market in June 2026, launching its first range of smart, energy-efficient ACs across Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Delhi NCR.
The brand is now expanding its footprint across other key markets including Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai and Pune, while continuing to deepen its presence in Hyderabad. Optimist ACs are currently available through Amazon and www.optimist.in, along with a growing network of brand stores and offline retail touchpoints across key cities. The company sees Hyderabad as an important market given the city’s long summers, high cooling requirements and increasing consumer focus on electricity consumption, product performance and the total cost of AC ownership.
Ashish Goel, Co-Founder, CEO & Director, Optimist, said, “Hyderabad is a market where consumers are increasingly looking beyond just cooling capacity. Energy efficiency, dependable performance and the long-term cost of running an AC are becoming equally important. We see strong potential in the city and are looking to deepen our presence by bringing products designed for Indian weather conditions and everyday usage. As awareness around energy consumption grows, we believe Hyderabad will continue to be an important growth market for Optimist.”
Optimist’s air-conditioning range has been developed specifically for demanding Indian weather conditions. Its ACs offer an ISEER rating of 6.05, placing energy efficiency at the centre of the product proposition, while the cooling system has been tested to perform in high ambient temperatures. The company’s 1.4-ton model also features a Turbo+ mode, which can increase cooling capacity to as much as 1.9 ton when additional cooling is required.
Beyond cooling performance, Optimist has introduced a range of smart ownership and service features aimed at giving consumers better visibility into the health and performance of their ACs. These include a built-in gas-level indicator, app-based diagnostics, energy monitoring and predictive alerts, helping users identify potential service requirements and monitor energy consumption more easily.Optimist also offers a five-year comprehensive warranty and a 10-year compressor warranty across its AC range.
