Renowned  bariatric(weight loss) surgeon and Clinical Director and Chief Surgeon of Obesity & Diabetes Surgery at KIMS Livlife Hospitals Dr. Nandakishore Dukkipati on Saturday announced the official launch of ‘India’s biggest weight loss challenge’. Collaborating with experts Prof. Adrian Kennedy and Dr. Nadeem, Dr. Nandakishore is shifting the discourse from “willpower” narrative toward a comprehensive understanding of medical science and sustainable biological resets.

This initiative serves as his manifesto for a healthier India, built upon four pillars: Clinical innovation integrating the latest frontiers of nutritional science and targeted pharmacotherapy;  surgical advocacy reframing metabolic surgery not as a last resort but as a powerful “biological reset” for long-term health, empowered communities mobilizing grassroots support to foster a culture of movement and mental resilience and sustainable evolution transitioning from short-term “dieting” to permanent lifestyle transformation.  Dr. Nandakishore Dukkipati mentioned that the aim is not just to manage the symptoms of disease but to aggressively pursue the essence of health.
