New claims against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

Hip-hop mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who was convicted last year on prostitution-related charges, is facing fresh legal trouble after a new lawsuit accused him of sexually assaulting a minor nearly two decades ago. According to ABC News, an unidentified former child actor alleged that Combs sexually assaulted him during a networking event held in the Hollywood Hills in May 2007, as per a civil lawsuit filed this week in California. The plaintiff, who was under the age of 18 at the time of the alleged incident, claimed he attended the event in hopes of advancing his acting career.

Zahara files to drop father’s last name

Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter Zahara has officially filed to remove Pitt from her surname. In documents obtained by people.com, the 21-year-old filed a petition for a change of name in the Superior Court of California. Zahara’s filing dates back to April 28 and came just days after her brother, 24-year-old Maddox Jolie, also filed to legally remove his father’s last name following their parents’ split in 2016 after two years of marriage and over 10 years as a couple.

Hugh Jackman to feature in Treasure Island

Hollywood star Hugh Jackman is set to feature in Ridley Scott’s next film Treasure Island, where he will essay the role of the pirate Long John Silver. The film is an adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s 1883 novel, with the same title and will have a script by Emmy-winning Adolescence writer Jack Thorne, according to the entertainment news outlet Variety. Treasure Island is set to release on June 19.
