Neurosurgery workshop launched in Hyderabad

The Renova Institute of Neurological Sciences (RINS), Banjara Hills, in collaboration with the PAN Research Foundation and the Cerebrovascular Society of India (CVSI), launched the third edition of its Skill Training and Hands-on Workshop on Vascular Neurosurgery on Wednesday. The two-day program is being held at the College of Veterinary Science, Rajendranagar, with support from P.V. Narasimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University (PVNRTVU).

The workshop was inaugurated by Prof. M. Gnana Prakash, Vice-Chancellor of PVNRTVU, in the presence of senior neurosurgeons Dr. D. Raja Reddy and Dr. I. Dinakar. Other dignitaries included Dr. Iype Cherian, Dr. M. Udaya Kumar, Dr. D. Madhuri, and Dr. A. Sarat Chandra.

Over 60 neurosurgeons, fellows, and residents from across the country are participating. The program focuses on practical training, including microvascular suturing, vessel anastomosis, live animal operative training, and endovascular simulation using advanced digital systems.
