Minister calls upon students to be part of Viksit Bharat

The Minister of Health ,Family Welfare&Medical Education,Sathyakumar Yadav called upon the students on Monday to participate in the construction of “Vikasit Bharat” dream of by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Swarna Andhra Pradesh dreamt of the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. He was the chief guest at the foundation stone laying ceremony of the new building of “Sanatana Vedanta Nishtaashrama Sri Saraswathi Vidya Mandir” at Chatragadda village of Repalle Rural Mandal in Bapatla district.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister Satya Kumar Yadav said that the education should be continued in mother tongue. The myth that development can be developed only with The English language should be discarded, he said, and added that those who are educated in mother tongue will have a sense of creativity. He made it clear that language is just a medium of communication and no one can rise to a higher level just by studying in english. He gave the examples of  former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said countries like Japan and China have risen by implementing education in their languages itself.

“I bow to the social service vision of Veeramachineni Veeranjaneya Sastry, Myneni Rajagopala Rao, Velagapudi Ramakrishna and Seetharamaiah garu, who believed in the theory that imparting education is the greatest of all donations and donated such a large land to the Saraswathi Vidya Mandir foundation a century ago. In the past, there were many great personalities, who understood the importance of education and supported it, be it in the form of space or finances.” he said and wished that this culture is brought back.

The Minister specially thanked the management for making him a part of this expansion program. Vidya Bharati, which is the parent organization of Saraswati Vidya Mandir, runs 24,128 schools in the country. Minister Satyakumar Yadav assured Revenue Minister Anagani Satya Prasad who was also present on that ocassion that he would focus on the development of medical facilities in Repalle area.
