Medicover celebrates 25,000 successful orthopaedic surgeries

Medicover Hospitals, Secunderabad, celebrated the successful completion of more than 25,000 orthopaedic surgeries by hosting "MOVEMENTUM 2026," a patient engagement and wellness event. Around 100 recovered orthopaedic patients, along with their families, participated in the programme, marking their recovery and return to active lifestyles.

A Zumba fitness session was the highlight of the event, with patients confidently taking part to showcase the mobility they had regained after surgery. The programme also included wellness activities, motivational interactions and awareness sessions highlighting the importance of rehabilitation, physiotherapy and regular exercise.

Dr. Uday Krishna Myneni, HOD and Chief Robotic Joint Replacement Surgeon, said the milestone reflected the trust patients had placed in Medicover Hospitals and reaffirmed the hospital's commitment to patient-centric orthopaedic care. He stressed that advanced joint replacement procedures, combined with proper rehabilitation, significantly improve mobility and quality of life.

Several patients shared their recovery experiences, while the hospital's orthopaedic specialists emphasised the importance of early diagnosis, timely treatment and long-term joint health.
