Jyoti Buddha Prakash is new CMD of SCCL

The state government transferred 10 IAS officers in Telangana. Jyoti Buddha Prakash, Secretary to the Government in the SCD department, has been designated as the new Chairman and Managing Director of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL).

D. Krishna Bhaskar has been discharged from his responsibilities in the Full Additional Charge (FAC) of the position. Official orders confirming this change were released on Wednesday.

Sabyasachi Ghosh, currently serving as the Special Chief Secretary for the Implementation of Flagship Welfare and Developmental Schemes Unit, has been assigned to the position of Officer on Special Duty (FAC) for the Special Chief Secretary of the Scheduled Caste Development Department and the Commissioner for Scheduled Caste Development following the relief of Jyoti Buddha Prakash from these roles.

In addition, Sabyasachi Ghosh will retain his responsibilities as the Officer on Special Duty (FAC) for the Special Chief Secretary of the Tribal Welfare Department, as well as the Special Chief Secretary of Government for Welfare and the Commissioner of Tribal Welfare.

Sandeep Kumar Sultania, serving as the Principal Secretary to the Government in the Finance Department, has been appointed as the Officer on Special Duty (FAC) for the Principal Secretary of the Planning Department and the Executive Officer of the Director General of Telangana Tourism and the Remote Sensing Applications Centre (TGRAC) due to the relief of Jyoti Buddha Prakash from the aforementioned FAC position.

D. Divya, Chief Executive Officer of the Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP), has been reassigned to the role of Officer on Special Duty (FAC) as Commissioner for Panchayati Raj & Rural Development, relieving Shruti Ojha of her responsibilities in this capacity.

P. Katyayani Devi, currently the Additional Chief Executive Officer of SERP, has been transferred to serve as the State Nodal Officer for Prajavani, thus relieving D. Divya from the Officer on Special Duty (FAC) of this position. P. Katyayani Devi will continue to hold the position of Officer on Special Duty (FAC) as the Joint Managing Director of the State Finance Corporation.

Mayank Mittal, presently the Executive Director of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB), has been transitioned to the role of Joint Managing Director of HMWS&SB. U. Raghuram Sharma, who has been serving as an Officer on Special Duty to the Minister for Information Technology, Industries, and Legislative Affairs, is now appointed as Special Secretary to the Government in the Industries and Commerce Department.

He will also assume the responsibilities of Officer on Special Duty (FAC) to the Minister for Information Technology, Industries, and Legislative Affairs.
