Cambridge Isotope Laboratories, Inc. (CIL), a manufacturer of isotope compounds, in collaboration with Hyderabad-based specialty chemicals manufacturer Chemtatva Chiral Solutions Pvt Ltd has announced a strategic joint venture to establish advanced manufacturing capabilities in Telangana.
The joint venture plans to invest up to Rs 300 crore in Genome Valley creating over 250 direct jobs. The announcement follows a meeting between the company delegation and Telangana’s Minister for IT, Electronics, Industries & Commerce Duddilla Sridhar Babu, along with CEO of Telangana Life Sciences, Shakthi M. Nagappan, in Hyderabad. Welcoming the investment, minister D. Sridhar Babu mentioned that the partnership reflects the confidence innovators have in Telangana’s ecosystem.
Dr Vishal Rajput, Founder & CEO of Chemtatva Chiral Solutions Pvt Ltd stated that partnering with Cambridge Isotope Laboratories enables Chemtatva to combine global expertise with India’s scientific talent. Cliff Caldwell, CEO, Cambridge Isotope Laboratories complimented that Telangana offers a strong ecosystem for advanced chemistry and life sciences manufacturing, supported by a skilled scientific workforce and progressive policies.
