March 14 holds special emotional significance for party members and women cadres and should be celebrated with the same enthusiasm at the grassroots level

The Jana Sena Party has made significant changes to its plans for the upcoming party formation day celebrations. Party president and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan announced that the proposed large-scale state-level event scheduled to be held in Pithapuram on March 14 has been cancelled.

According to Pawan Kalyan, the decision was taken keeping in mind the rising summer temperatures and adverse weather conditions being reported across the state. He stated that the welfare and safety of party workers was the primary concern behind the decision. Initially, the party had planned to organise a massive public gathering in Pithapuram to mark the formation day and energise the party cadre across Andhra Pradesh.

However, after reviewing reports on the intensifying heatwave conditions, the party leadership decided to alter its strategy and avoid exposing thousands of workers and supporters to extreme weather. Instead of a single state-level rally, Pawan Kalyan directed party leaders and workers to celebrate the formation day locally at district, city, and mandal headquarters across the state. He said March 14 holds special emotional significance for party members and women cadres and should be celebrated with the same enthusiasm at the grassroots level.

With the cancellation of the Pithapuram mega event, Jana Sena offices across Andhra Pradesh are now preparing for decentralised celebrations. The party leadership has called on cadres to organise flag-hoisting ceremonies, community service activities, and local gatherings in their respective constituencies.

Party leaders believe that holding celebrations at the local level will not only ensure the safety of supporters but also strengthen the party’s presence at the grassroots, allowing cadres in every district to actively participate in the formation day events.
