It’s a wrap for Awarapan 2

Ever since the makers announced 14th August 2026 as the release date of Awarapan 2, fans of the cult classic have been eagerly awaiting the return of Emraan Hashmi as Shivam on the big screen. Vishesh Films recently took to social media to announce the film’s wrap, a moment fans had been looking forward to as the journey towards the sequel draws closer.

Shot across Rajasthan and South East Asia, Awarapan 2 has been mounted on a larger canvas while staying true to the emotional core of the original story. Emraan Hashmi reprises his role as Shivam, a character that has stayed with audiences for nearly two decades. Disha Patani joins Vishesh Films for the first time, adding a fresh dimension to the narrative.

Written by Bilal Siddiqui and directed by Nitin Kakkar, the film continues the story with care and continuity. Produced by Vishesh Bhatt, the project stays rooted in the banner’s signature style of honest storytelling, memorable 

characters, and enduring music. Awarapan 2 is set to release in cinemas worldwide on 14 August 2026.
