In a Joint operation, the sleuths of the Special Operations Team (SOT), Malkajgiri along with the Bhongir Rural Police, have arrested two inter-state drug peddlers involved in the transportation of hashish oil.
Arrested drug peddlers have been identified as Petla Shekar (25) and Animini Reddy Durga Rao (25), both are the residents of Gabbada village in Anakapally district of Andhra Pradesh. Police have seized 4kg of Hashish oil and two mobile phones, all worth Rs 80 lakh from the arrested persons. The accused person Petla Shekar native of Andhra Pradesh got acquainted with Ganja Durga through a common friend. Together
They planned to supply Hashish Oil at Bhongir and Hyderabad. Shekar approached his childhood friend Animini Reddy Durga Rao for transporting Hashish who is a lorry driver. Both the accused hatched a plan to procure a high quantity of hashish oil from Ganja Durga and want to sell the same to the needy consumers through their known sources.
According to their plan on April 11, Shekar and Animini Reddy Durga Rao procured about 4kg of Hashish oil from Ganja Durga and proceeded to Hyderabad. At Bhongir railway station they proceeded to the inertial area at Anantharam service road and while moving in suspicious circumstances were arrested by the police teams. The main Sellers (Ganja Durga) is absconding and efforts are on to apprehend him, police said.
