Hyderabad/Mohali, October 2026: The Indian School of Business (ISB), ranked #1 in India and #12 globally in the Financial Times Global MBA Rankings 2026, has marked its 25th anniversary with the announcement of ISB@25 - a set of long-term institutional commitments to widen access to management education and strengthen India's research and teaching capacity.
Under the ISB25 Scholars Programme, ISB will award 250 scholarships every year going forward, across its flagship Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) and the PGP in Management for Young Leaders (PGP YL), with tuition-fee waivers ranging 100%, 50%, 30%, and 25% under merit-need basis. The programme is designed to widen the pool of talent at ISB, ensuring high-potential candidates from diverse economic, geographic, and professional backgrounds have access to a world-class management education.
Alongside this, ISB will establish the India Research Commons, a national platform that will give scholars across India access to curated datasets, research tools, methodological resources, and AI-enabled research infrastructure. The initiative will be paired with a new national faculty development programme, through which ISB will share its pedagogy, classroom practices, and technology-enabled teaching methods with management institutions across the country - extending capabilities the School has built over 25 years to the broader Indian academic ecosystem.
"ISB@25 is an opportunity not only to celebrate our journey, but to define our commitment for the future," said Professor Madan Pillutla, Dean, Indian School of Business. "Our promise is to make excellence more accessible, knowledge more shareable, and research more usable for institutions and scholars across the country."This latest set of commitments builds on a series of initiatives ISB has undertaken in recent years to keep pace with the evolving needs of learners and industry. Since its founding in 2001, ISB has grown into one of the world's top-ranked business schools, with over 20,000 alumni across 65+ countries.
