Healthark RISE Summit on Sept 24

Healthark’s RISE Health Innovation Summit 2026, its flagship annual healthcare and life sciences event, will be held in Hyderabad on September 24, bringing together senior leaders from the pharmaceutical, healthcare and biotechnology sectors. Telangana Minister for Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, Industries & Commerce, and Legislative Affairs D. Sridhar Babu is scheduled to deliver the keynote address. Ajit Reddy, CEO of Invest Telangana, will also participate, bringing policy and industry perspectives to discussions on the healthcare and life sciences sector.

A book on India’s Global Capability Centre (GCC) opportunity, published by Healthark and co-authored with leaders from Opella, Roche, Novo Nordisk and Takeda, will also be launched. Sessions will focus on the evolving role of GCCs and emerging developments in genomics and biotechnology.

Among the speakers are John Dawber, Vice-President and Managing Director, Global Business Services, India, Novo Nordisk; Chandani Palshetkar, Global Head of GCC Strategy & Services, Opella; Pawan Sachdeva, Senior Managing Director–Technology, Carelon Global Solutions; and Mahesh Natarajan, Senior Director–Research & Development, Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Healthark Founder and CEO Dr Purav Gandhi said healthcare innovation required collaboration among leaders, institutions and industries. President and Co-Founder Sudeep Krishna said India had moved beyond an execution-focused role in global healthcare and life sciences, emerging as a hub for strategic thinking and innovation

The event will also recognize a skilling initiative launched in Hyderabad two years ago. Beginning with a pilot batch of around 140 students from Telangana, the programme has expanded into a broader model. Students, principals and HR leaders involved in the initiative will be felicitated.
