Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla on Friday felicitated nine-year-old Hyderabad girl V. Siri Athasha at Lok Bhavan in recognition of her remarkable achievement in completing the Sar Pass Trek in Himachal Pradesh.
Siri Athasha successfully trekked to an altitude of 13,800 feet, displaying exceptional determination, courage and resilience at a young age.
During her interaction with the Governor, she also shared her experience of visiting Umling La Pass in Ladakh, home to the world's highest motorable road, recognised by the Guinness World Records.
Congratulating the young achiever, the Governor lauded her adventurous spirit and perseverance. He observed that accomplishments of children like Siri Athasha reflect the immense potential of India's youth and inspire others to pursue their dreams with dedication and confidence.
Shukla encouraged her to continue striving for excellence and wished her success in all her future endeavours. He expressed hope that her achievement would motivate more young people to embrace adventure, discipline and the spirit of exploration.
