A public meeting titled “Voices that Question – Achievements Won” will be held on April 26 at Sundarayya Vignana Kendram to mark 29 years since the attack on people’s poet Gaddar. The event is being organised by the Gaddar Foundation.
BC JAC chairman Jajula Srinivas Goud urged people from all communities to attend in large numbers and make the event successful. He, along with foundation chairman G. V. Surya Kiran, unveiled the wall poster at the BC JAC state office in Hyderabad.
Recalling the April 6, 1997 shooting incident, Srinivas Goud alleged that successive governments failed to arrest the culprits even after 29 years. He said people’s poet Gaddar remained fearless, fighting for his ideology and Bahujan political empowerment, inspiring generations to question injustice.
