The Andhra Pradesh Government is planning to extend WhatsApp Governance. Currently, 200 services are available through the platform, with plans to expand to 350 by the end of the month. In the next phase, the number of services will reach 500 informed IT and Real-Time Governance Secretary Bhaskar Katamneni on the progress of WhatsApp Governance during a review meeting here on Monday.
The government also plans to leverage artificial intelligence for a “One State, One App” initiative, where all government services will be integrated into a single platform. During the review, the Chief Minister also assessed public perception of Anna Canteens, which provide affordable meals. According to survey data, 90% of respondents expressed complete satisfaction with the canteens’ services.
When asked about the quality and taste of the food, 94% of people rated it highly, while 96% were satisfied with the cleanliness of the canteens. Similarly, 82.5% of respondents were pleased with the behavior of pension distribution staff. Naidu instructed officials to address concerns raised by dissatisfied citizens and improve service delivery. The meeting was attended by key ministers, senior bureaucrats, and officials from various departments, including Home, Agriculture, and IT.
