In a special initiative marking International Women's Day, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (commonly referred to as Jala Mandali) organized a free medical camp exclusively for its women employees on Wednesday. The camp was jointly conducted by TX Hospital and Jala Mandali at its main office in Khairatabad.
The medical camp was inaugurated by Managing Director Ashok Reddy, along with Joint Managing Director Mayank Mittal. Over 70 women employees participated in the health check-up program. Comprehensive screenings were offered, including blood pressure (BP), sugar levels (diabetes), ECG, eye vision tests, skin examinations, hair health assessments, BMI calculations and other general health evaluations.
The initiative aimed to promote preventive healthcare and early detection among female staff members. The event saw active involvement from senior officials and representatives of the department's women's welfare group. Among those present were Director (Personnel) Mohammad Abdul Khader, General Manager Saraswati, President of the Jala Mandali Women's Ministerial Staff Welfare Association Shailaja, General Secretary Bilqis Banu, Vice President Tanuja, Treasurer Sai Sunitha, and several other board women employees.
