An FIR has been registered against four members of the Hyderabad Golf Association at the Golconda police station. HGA Secretary C.V. Based on Ramana Reddy's complaint, a case was registered on charges of criminal conspiracy, forgery, creating false evidence, cheating and defamation. A case has been registered under Sections 335, 336 (3), 318 (1) read with 62, 356 and 61 (2) of the IPC. Members of the Hyderabad Golf Association Dina Sandeep Rathi, P.S. Hemant Reddy, Shri. A case has been registered against Pratap Reddy and Ajay Nayani.
According to the complaint, C.V. Ramana Reddy has been the honorary secretary of the Hyderabad Golf Association since 2024. He alleged that some committee members had developed a personal grudge against him after he questioned them on financial irregularities and decisions that were against the rules in the association. He said that after the Hyderabad Public School alumni event on December 25, a flexi board was put up at the venue, photos of which were taken and an attempt was made to falsely accuse him of violating the rules of the Hyderabad Golf Association.
The complaint stated that an internal inquiry committee set up by the Hyderabad Golf Association had given a report stating that the allegations against him were baseless. In the complaint, he alleged that the photographs were deliberately created as false evidence and the conspiracy was aimed at suspending or removing him from the post of secretary. The Golconda police have registered a case and started an investigation.
