A curtain-raiser fashion showcase set the tone for the upcoming “Evwaah – Weavers Hub” Exhibition, scheduled for February 21–22, 2026, at Firewater Neo Bar & Kitchen, Nanakramguda. Models walked the ramp in elegant handwoven sarees, celebrating the richness and craftsmanship of traditional Indian textiles.

The preview event, held at the Firewater Banquet Hall, featured the formal announcement of Evwaah by socialite Alekhya Reddy and her team, along with the unveiling of the exhibition poster. The showcase highlighted the beauty of handloom weaves and aimed to build excitement for the two-day exhibition dedicated to supporting artisans.

Addressing the media, Alekhya Reddy said the initiative seeks to empower handloom weavers by providing them a sustainable marketplace and direct access to customers. She stressed the need for consistent promotional platforms to strengthen the handloom sector, a vital part of India’s cultural and economic heritage.

The exhibition will feature artisans and craft collectives presenting Banarasi, Kanjeevaram, Gadwal, Pochampally, and Mangalagiri sarees. Organisers plan to host the exhibition monthly, creating a recurring platform for weavers and attracting fashion enthusiasts and handloom supporters.
