Eight ICFAI faculty feature in the global top 50 authors

In the list of ‘Global Top 50 Bestselling Case Authors’ for 2025-26 announced by ‘The Case Center’ UK, ICFAI faculty members dominate the list, with six authors in the Top 10 and eight overall. INSEAD follows with three authors in the top 10 and six in the Top 50. Prof. Indu Perepu of ICFAI Business School (IBS) claimed the No. 1 position. On this achievement Prof. Indu Perepu thanked ICFAI for its encouraging culture that nurtures case writing, and to ‘The Case Centre’ for taking her cases to classrooms and educators across the world. The recognition has shown that small, consistent efforts can, over time, grow into meaningful milestones, she mentioned.

In the words of Vicky Lester, CEO of ‘The Case Center’, this year’s list marked a new chapter for the Top 50, with Indu Perepu taking the No. 1 position for the first time. “Indu’s achievement reflects the strong demand for her cases and the contribution she and her colleagues at ICFAI Business School are making to case-based business education,” he said.

Other ICFAI faculty members featured in the list include late Debapratim Purkayastha at No. 2, Syeda Maseeha Qumer at No. 5, Jitesh Nair at No. 8, Sanjib Dutta at No. 9, Koti Vinod Babu at No. 10, V Namratha Prasad at No. 17, and Dr Nagendra V Chowdary at No. 46.  For three years – 2023-24, 2024-25, and 2025-26, ICFAI has been the No. 1 institution in the Global Top 50, with 24 appearances in the top 50.
