70 DTs promoted as Tahsildars, TGTA thanks Minister

The Telangana Tahsildars Association and Telangana Revenue Service Association have welcomed the promotion of 70 Deputy Tahsildars (DTs) as Tahsildars, calling it a result of their sustained efforts.

Association leaders S. Ramulu, Ramesh Paka, Banala Ram Reddy and V. Bhiksham said 43 officials were promoted in Multi Zone-1 and 27 in Multi Zone-2.

They expressed special thanks to Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy and CCLA Lokesh Kumar for supporting and completing the promotion process. They also acknowledged the role of V. Lachireddy in pursuing the issue.<The leaders said the demand for promoting DTs as Tahsildars had been repeatedly taken to the minister and authorities, and was finally resolved with their cooperation.

They added that after the Congress government came to power, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and the Revenue Minister have been strengthening the department while ensuring promotions across levels, assuring continued efforts for more advancements in the future.
