Dr. Kota Neelima conducts awareness program on ASDD list

As part of Phase-II of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process, Dr. Kota Neelima, TPCC Vice President and Congress Party In-charge for the Sanathnagar Assembly constituency, conducted awareness programs on the ASDD list across the constituency. Secunderabad DCC President Deepak John attended the program as the Chief Guest. Dr. Kota Neelima, accompanied by Deepak John, undertook a door-to-door exercise across the respective booth areas to verify the details of voters whose names figured in the ASDD list.  Dr. Kota Neelima clarified that the inclusion of a name in the ASDD list does not, by itself, mean that a voter has lost their right to vote.

She said that those whose names appear in the ASDD list can approach the local Booth Level Agent (BLA) with valid supporting documents and relevant records and seek restoration of their names in the electoral roll, in accordance with the prescribed procedure. Meanwhile, Secunderabad DCC President Deepak John said that Congress Party BLAs, supervisors, leaders and workers have a collective responsibility to ensure that every voter is adequately informed about the ASDD list under SIR Phase-II.
