Dattatreya mourns NIT student's death

Former Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatraya expressed deep sorrow over the death of Angoth Shiva, a student from Maheshwaram village in Telangana studying at NIT Kurukshetra.
Calling the incident tragic, he highlighted Shiva’s background from a poor Scheduled Tribe family and urged the students to maintain mental resilience alongside academics. Dattatraya said he spoke with the NIT authorities to understand the circumstances and requested swift arrangements to transport the mortal remains to Telangana. He conveyed condolences to the grieving family.
