However, losses from breakages during transportation and limited government support impact their earnings. Srikanth from Inya Pottery highlights the need to preserve this age-old craft, noting that many artisans have moved away from traditional pottery due to financial reasons.

"Clay cookware for serving dishes and storing curd is also gaining popularity. Many households and restaurants are opting for these products due to their functionality and decorative appeal." Pottery expert Chennakesava explains, "Drinking water from clay pots aids digestion, boosts metabolism, and maintains hydration. The alkaline nature of clay helps balance stomach acid and pH levels, reducing the risk of infections. Additionally, the porous structure filters impurities while keeping water naturally cool."
