Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar launched a scathing attack on the Congress and BRS for the Thursday developments in the state captital, accusing both parties of staging political dramas to mislead the people of Telangana. Reacting to the ongoing war of words between leaders of the two parties, he remarked that their exchanges resembled a "Bigg Boss reality show," with both sides putting up rehearsed performances for public attention while protecting each other whenever it truly mattered.
Stating that the people of Telangana were no longer being deceived by such political theatrics, Bandi Sanjay said the public was watching these developments with amusement and had begun to reject both parties. He alleged that Congress and BRS had become equally responsible for the state's mounting debt, corruption, governance failures and irregularities, including those related to Gurukul tenders.
The Union Minister announced that he would request Telangana BJP President N. Ramchander Rao to organize an open public debate involving Congress, BRS and the BJP. He said the date, time and venue could be fixed transparently so that all issues concerning the people could be discussed before the public.
Bandi Sanjay asserted that the BJP was prepared to expose the failures of both Congress and BRS with facts and evidence. He also said the party would highlight the developmental initiatives, welfare measures and financial support extended to Telangana by the Union Government under the leadership of Narendra Modi.
Claiming that the people of Telangana were seeking a "double elimination" of Congress and BRS, he expressed confidence that the state was ready to welcome a BJP double engine government.
