District Election Officer and Collector Borkhade Hemanth Sahadeo Rao has called upon representatives of all recognized political parties to extend cooperation in the Special Intensive Revision(SIR) of the electoral rolls, stressing that the exercise must be completed within the timeline prescribed by the Election Commission of India. He said the revision process should be carried out in a transparent manner, leaving no room for ambiguity or doubt.

The Collector made these remarks while chairing a review meeting with representatives of recognized political parties at the Collectorate's Video Conference Hall on Wednesday. The Collector informed the participants that the distribution of voter enumeration forms had commenced and clarified that only Booth Level Officers (BLOs) are authorized to conduct the door-to-door exercise. He emphasized that Booth Level Agents (BLAs) representing political parties are not permitted to distribute the forms.

The Collector added that all BLOs in the district had received specialized training on form distribution, data collection, and the submission process. Providing details of the schedule, he said preparatory activities and training programs were completed between June 15 and June 24. From June 25 to July 24, Booth Level Officers will carry out the door-to-door voter enumeration exercise across the district.

The Collector announced that the draft electoral roll will be published on July 31. Following its publication, claims, objections, and applications for corrections will be accepted from July 31 to August 30.
