District Collector K. Haritha on Tuesday directed officials to complete all arrangements in a foolproof manner for the proposed visit of the Chief Minister to Kolam Kothari village in Komuram Bheem Asifabad mandal on June 1.
The Collector, along with Additional Collector David, RDO Lokeshwar Rao and engineering department officials, inspected the arrangements at the village. She instructed officials to expedite helipad construction works and take up internal road repairs and desilting of drainage canals on a war footing. Officials were also asked to immediately clear unused structures and garbage from the village.
Haritha directed officials to decorate both sides of the CC road to be inaugurated by the Chief Minister and ensure that Indiramma houses are ready for handover to beneficiaries. She also instructed authorities to beautify the houses and maintain cleanliness in the surroundings.
A special platform should be arranged for the Chief Minister’s interaction with beneficiaries, she said. The Collector also ordered officials to provide drinking water, shamianas, chairs and other basic facilities for the public attending the meeting and called upon all departments to coordinate effectively for the successful conduct of the visit.
