Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday launched the “Matsyakarula Sevalo”(In service of fishermen) scheme in Budugatlapalem village of Srikakulam district. As part of this program, each fishing family will be given Rs 20,000 during the fishing break season at http://sea.

As many as 1,29,178 families will be benefited under the scheme. Speaking on the occasion, the CM said that Backward Classes are the backbone of TDP. He stated that he had seen the problems and the sufferings of the poor from close quarters.

 Some fishermen's income is also being siphoned off, he said and made it clear that he would bring light to the lives of fishermen no matter how many difficulties arise.
