Civic & Police officials assess road widening possibilities

Hyderabad: Senior civic and police officials conducted a joint inspection in the IT Corridor under Cyberabad Commissionerate limits on Saturday to accelerate road widening works aimed at easing congestion and improving commuter safety.

The team inspected key stretches between Lemon Tree Hotel, Madhapur and Cyber Towers, as well as the corridor up to Medicover Hospital. Traffic challenges at Durgam Cheruvu and Nectar Garden were also reviewed.

Officials assessed the road width, encroachments and utility obstructions, while discussing inter-departmental coordination for shifting utilities and executing works with minimal disruption. Authorities said the proposed measures are expected to significantly improve traffic flow and support growing infrastructure needs in the busy IT hub.
