‘Chandrayaan’ glimpse unveiled, movie to hit screens on Oct 30

The glimpse of upcoming film ‘Chandrayaan’ was held on Sunday with popular astrologer Venu Swamy attending as the Chief Guest. The movie, produced by Venu Udugula features Shivakumar Dheekonda, Swapna Priyadarshini, Ravi Shivateja, Vamshidhar, Lokesh and Balagam Satyanarayana in key roles. Produced by Praveen Molaka under the Simba Screen Stories banner and directed by Srinath Chandrasekhar, Chandrayaan is a comedy-adventure film that is gearing up for release on October 30.

Venu Swamy mentioned that small films have been achieving good success in Telugu cinema lately and predicted that the film would emerge as a success. Actor Shivakumar Dheekonda said the film was made by a largely new team that worked tirelessly during its 40-day continuous shoot. Actress Swapna Priyadarshini, making her Telugu film debut, said she was confident that her character Bindu would connect with audiences.

Director Srinath Chandrasekhar said the story follows four youngsters who, despite limited scientific knowledge, attempt to build a rocket and travel into space. He promised two hours and 15 minutes of entertainment. Presenter Venu Udugula described Chandrayaan as a meaningful story presented with commercial entertainment. Producer Praveen Molaka said the film is suitable for family audiences and contains no objectionable content.
