A major outreach initiative by the Rythu Commission in Nagarkurnool district concluded successfully, with a special focus on raising awareness about the newly launched Bhu Bharati portal, designed to streamline land records and resolve long-standing disputes. The awareness conference was formally inaugurated by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy in his native village, Kondareddy Palli.
The Rythu Commission team, led by Chairman Kodandareddy, arrived from Hyderabad early in the morning to a warm welcome from local farmers and residents. Their visit began with a prayer ceremony at the Hanuman Temple, followed by the traditional inauguration of a paddy procurement center at the Kondareddy Palli Gram Panchayat office, marked by the breaking of a coconut.
The team later proceeded to Polkampalli village in Vangoor Mandal, where they participated in the Bhu Bharati awareness conference organized at the farmers' platform. Speaking at the event, Chairman Kodandareddy emphasized that the Bhu Bharati portal was introduced as an advanced version of Dharani Plus, aiming to permanently resolve land ownership issues that have plagued thousands of farmers due to the previous government's negligence. He announced that state-wide revenue conferences would soon be organized to facilitate the portal's implementation at the grassroots level.
Commission members K V N Reddy, Bhoomi Sunil Kumar, and Bhavani Reddy explained the key features of the Bhu Bharati portal. They assured the farming community that officials would now visit villages directly to address land issues, eliminating the need for farmers to travel long distances. The team also visited the Vangoor Mandal Revenue Office (MRO) to inspect the functioning of the portal. Later in the day, they reached the Nagarkurnool District Collectorate, where a special awareness session was held for revenue department officials.
